Indirect Procurement Specialist
What's the role?
Develop a portfolio of sourcing categories and strategic sourcing projects. Establish long-term supply agreements where feasible to reduce transactional work and obtain optimal quality, service, price, and other terms. Together with your stakeholders with global or regional offices you will drive procurement through the finance team and optimize spend. You will deliver strategic & operational procurement advice and services.

What does the role involve?
The role is to provide strategic advice & recommendations on best practice procurement activities aligned with Finance, adhering to all relevant policies within organization, using the Procurement process as an opportunity to optimize spend & achieve value adding initiatives to the sourcing categories.As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible to support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within a diverse portfolio of indirect sourcing categories, which includes consulting services, marketing, IT, Telecommunication, HR services, Operating supplies, Vehicle management, and other indirect categories of goods and services. Specific responsibilities include development of category strategies, optimizing spend opportunities, facilitating and leading sourcing projects, supplier negotiation, tactical purchasing and establishing & maintenance of supplier relationships. You drive the preparation and support in the execution of projects together with global & local teams that reside in the regions and corporate functions.

What you need is:
- A university degree in business or finance
- 2-3 years’ experience in finance or project management in a multinational organization
- Strategic mind-set with result orientation
- Strong facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
- Good proficiency in English and Thai
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to structure clear presentations and to simplify a financial message to non-finance stakeholders
- Proficient IT acumen e.g. SAP S4HANA, SAP Ariba, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- To be geographically flexible, and have the ambition to pursue an international career
