I joined Hilti in 2012 as a recruiter and spent my first year in sourcing and selecting new Hilti employees in all functions, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Tool Service etc as well as developing a university strategy to bring more diversity to the organisation. From the first day I felt welcome and appreciated. Colleagues trusted you to be the expert in your job and this motivated me to do my best every day. Then I got promoted to an HR Business Partner to focus more on the coaching and developing of our people. In May 2018 I relocated to Austria and became Head of HR in our lead plant P4. Being a team lead now and working first time in a manufacturing environment is exciting and brings a new spin to my professional career.

Since I joined Hilti I always had the desire to work abroad. After 2.5 years in Austria, I got the opportunity to move to Manchester, GB to grow in my role as an HR Business Partner. Living and working abroad is a great experience to learn from different cultures and meet people who have a different mindset as you are used to work with. It challenges you in a good way and helps you to grow and widen your horizon like never before. Working with people from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences is very encouraging and motivates me every day to give my best. Every day is different and in a culture you are not familiar with, it is a fantastic challenge to have and stretches your thinking and openness to new things. Love it!

I joined the Corporate Legal Department at Hilti after gaining work experience as legal counsel in other interesting industry sectors such as sport marketing and food & beverages. Growing up in the region of the Headquarter, Hilti was always known to me as a top employer. Working in a team which supports me and appreciates my work and receiving the same attitude from other departments we offer our service to is very encouraging to me.
